This obscure title is the ONLY Hokuto no Ken RPG which actually lets you play the anime saga directly． The other two Hokuto no Ken RPGs made (Hokuto no Ken 4 for the NES and Hokuto no Ken 5 for the Snes) actually are only loosely connected to the anime． In these two games you play as an external character and sometimes you cross your path with Hokuto No Ken characters and live situations from the original anime． As you can see the gameplay of this RPG is similar to the one of Dragon Warrior． Fighting also is pretty unforgiving and your characters starts off pretty weak． This game was never translated．
